I’m a married, 30-something, tech-enthusiast with tendencies towards OCD and a taste for really good beer and fishing. I’ve been at my current place of employment for better than 9 years now and I’m still happy (though I’m longing for more challenges). I spend my days managing data and systems for the Financial Affairs and Treasury Services dept at a MA college. Generally this requires working with Windows XP and Server 2003 as well as at least one legacy NT 4 box (which will be gone soon) and some Linux (and that’s only because I use it on my desktop).

I spend my evenings relaxing at home with the Mrs, either catching up on our shows, listening to the radio or playing with my puterz’. We’re home bodies and like to relax in our quiet neighborhood.

I like really filthy humor and crude commentary. I always have, and more so now that everyone else is so politically correct.

I blog when there’s time and something to blog about. There isn’t a lot of either

I always want to know more than I do, so learning is important to me. I prefer to learn by doing, so I usually have *something* spinning in my head (that’s what I’m thinking about if you see me not paying attention).
